Went Chinatown with mummy. As expected, it was really crowded over there. I have always enjoyed going to Chinatown during Chinese New Year season. Must squeeze in the crowd once a year, then shiok! Haha…

There was really a wide assortment of Chinese New Year goodies there. I was so tempted to get some, but there were already so many at home. Earrings were going for $2 a pair… really cheap… Too bad I could not find one that I like. I fell in love with a ring that I saw at one of the stalls. A heart-shaped diamond ring (fake diamond of course). Hiaz…but they don’t have my size.

There were food samples all around. I tried some coffee at a stall. Someone knocked into me, and I spilled the coffee on my WHITE shirt. Eeks… I was so angry, because he didn't even apologize. In the end, we did not buy anything from Chinatown, but overall, it was an enjoyable trip.

Finally met up with Angelia today after such a long time. We went shopping around bugis. I bought a light yellow nail polish with gloss from Sasa to match my clothes. Learnt some make-up tips from Angelia. We also tried out some perfumes at Sasa. There is this super nice perfume from Loewe. Sweet, refreshing scent contained in a pink bottle. It’s not as expensive as the Christian Dior one I’m using. Maybe can consider buying it after Chinese New Year. Eeks… I’m spending on unnecessary stuff… Time to cut down on expenses. Should I buy or should I not?

Yesterday was our semi-finals match against hall 15. I had expected something challenging, and was really disappointed that it didn't turn out that way. I thought it would be a narrow victory of 3-2, but we won 5-0. The men's doubles was the most exciting match of the day, with 4 ivp standard guys in the game. The match could go either way! Glad that we won though, but I felt a little sorry for Raymond, coz' I could understand his feelings completely.

I felt that my playing was really sucky yest, coz' my balls were flat with little spin. (Don't know why, but everything was so off... hopefully it's just the wet weather) Most of my balls were going out! Well, there were so many supporters during our match yest, and hmm... I thought perhaps I could just show off a little, but that didn't happen.

I felt really tired after my match. Not just physically, but mentally as well. I've never felt this way before... it's as if I was drained of my energy completely. I was glad that our opponents posted no threat to us, if not I think I might not have lasted the match with yest's sucky playing. Thank goodness John was around as my doubles partner to cover for me. I think without his support and encouragment, I would have lost my temper yest. Surprisingly, Uncle Don was pretty nice to me during the match yest. I'm glad he is no longer ignoring me. Seriously, I was a little affected when he started to ignore me for the past few weeks. I'm someone who really really need a lot of attention.

Somehow I felt that Uncle Don could read right through me yest, even though I didn't talk much to him. He somehow knew that I was feeling jittery, and was giving me the necessary support that I needed during my game yest and after that as well. Hiaz... I guess I could never be able to hide anything from Don and John.

Zi Yih said that it's always so obvious for others to know what I was thinking, coz' I show everything on my face. Do I? She said I should learn how to hide my feelings, coz' others could be affected by my feelings. I guess she is right. BUT THAT IS SO FAKE!!!!!!!!!! But I think what she said made sense as well.

I'm glad I managed to survive yest. Thank you god for giving me the strength.

&Life Philosophy
All our lives we search for someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance the song of heartbreak and carry our hopes within us, wondering if somewhere,somehow there is someone searching for us.

Dance as though no one is watching you. Love as though you have never been hurt before. Sing as though no one can hear you. Live as though heaven is on earth.
~~~
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results. ~~~
