Kailing made this birthday card for me!!!!! It's so so beautiful. She has great artistic talent!!!!!!

And here a poem she wrote for me... How beautiful...

There in the distance,
An elusive silhouette.
An incomprehensible figure,
Thus, hard to grasp.
What her unique aura,
Her mystical allure,
They drew me close
A curious girl.
Larkspur and Aster,
Ruby and Sapphire,
Now so ardent
The friendship a treasure.
The two of us,
A double cherry.
Through all rough patches,
Never to secede.
Sky brightens and darkens,
Flowers bloom and wither,
Through all the seasons,
Something here to keep.

Had a really great birthday yesterday. Was pleasantly surprised that my friends from different cliques turned up. Well, it's a pity that Don, John and Jamie couldn't make it. I would love them there. Thanks to all my primary school friends who came all the way down yesterday to wish me Happy Birthday! Appreciate it real much. Special acknowledgements to Cindy, who came down, even though you have a morning paper the next day. To Licheng, who stayed until so late to accompany me and Hui Fang. Also to Jervis, who came down, even though Federer and gang weren't coming. Last but not least, to ZI YIH!!!!!!! I didn't know you would be coming as we just had a celebration at Sol Garden the day before.

All these would have been impossible without the great planning and coordination from Hui Fang!!!!!!!! =)

My simple, yet beautiful bdae cake!

Waiting for the cake to be cut...

Went out with Ian to celebrate my birthday. He treated me to a really nice lunch at this crepe shop at the basement of Raffles City, but it was a really expensive lunch too. Received a SUPER BIG sunflower, a ty bear, a penguin, and a pair of earrings from him. I really LOVE the SUPER BIG sunflower, even though it was quite attention seeking when we carry it around. Grandma and Mum said the ty bear was pretty! But they both DISLIKE the penguin. So to make up for the favouritism shown towards the bear, I let the penguin sit ON TOP of my favourite ty red dog. (Let Mr Penguin be KING!!!) The bear sits BESIDE the red dog. Haha...

Today has been a great day! Went to Xiuhui's house to coach her and Kat for tennis, but received a really pleasant surprise. A big thank you to Xiuhui, Kat, Cindy, and Qian Bei for celebrating my birthday for me! I was really so touched that they came all the way down to give me this pleasant surprise.

Had a great dinner with them and yummy home-made chocolate brownie cake. And also the beautiful presents! They must have been damn expensive. A Dior Addict 2 Perfume! And a beautiful bracelet!

I love you guys! Everything done is deeply appreciated.

Here are some abstract pictures from Esplanande... Dedicated to Licheng!!! Haha...

Into the abysmal depth...

This pic is titled "Butterflies something", forgot the full title. Do you see any butterflies?

Looks like a few leeches on a glass plane...

A few pieces of wooden block...

If this is not a mushroom, what is it? It really looks like some colorful wild mushroom...

Finally, here's a PRETTY pic of MYSELF in front of Esplanade. Why is it not zoomed in? If it's zoomed in, it won't be a PRETTY pic any more rite? Haha...

It's Wai Yin's 21st bdae! She invited us for her bdae celeb at Pasir Ris. Wow... she really invited lots of people, mostly her crusaders. I heard that she invited different people for the 3 days of celebration. Really a BIG EVENT!

Hiaz... come to think of it... how will my 21st bdae be like? Probably going to be some low-key event with my family and friends. I don't really want a party, but I hope to have the sincere wishes from all my friends. Of course, I would love a surprise! It's not too hard to give me a surprise. Close friends should know what surprise I would love, but I don't think it's very possible.

Anyway, here are 2 pics from Yin's bdae celeb. Be patient... Should have more coming up...

All our lives we search for someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance the song of heartbreak and carry our hopes within us, wondering if somewhere, somehow there is someone searching for us.

Dance as though no one is watching you. Love as though you have never been hurt before. Sing as though no one can hear you. Live as though heaven is on earth.
~~~
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results. ~~~
