Well, there's really lots of stuff to update on. Let's start from 12 Dec, the day b4 I went Bangkok. Wayne invited me over to his hse to play tennis with him and Xiuhui. Wayne is still the same old Wayne... I remembered the times in JC when we partnered for mixed doubles... I really enjoyed partnering him... And I must really thank him for tolerating my bad temper. Wayne is just such a gentlemen. =)

Wayne really improved a lot. I was impressed. His angled balls were really quite good. I didn't even attempted running for it... Partly was due to the heat in the sun, but the main thing was that I thought he would go friendly on me! So fierce for what! So I had to show my prowess a little right? I can be quite a tiger if I want to... Heh... Hope you didn't get offended, Wayne... =)

Yea... Anyway, Wayne attributed his tremendous improvement to the healthy 'mountain' air. Well, his condo is on a hill u see... Then I told him that I have to go to his house and play more often. Maybe I will see great improvement too! Haha...

Anyway, it was great fun playing and catching up with Wayne and Xiuhui. Thanks peeps!

I'm finally back again... after missing in action for such a long period. Ended paper last Thursday. Relaxed a little on Friday... Went out with Yan Ling and Jasmine for shopping. Didn't see anything I fancy though... I think I'm just saving up the money to spend in Bangkok lar... Heh...

My weekends were burnt at Waterfront playing the charity tournament. Although I was so tired, I really enjoyed myself. It was like a little gathering of sorts... our ladies team, with the guys team... Our conversation were really humorous at times, and I think mixed doubles was fun also, although I don't feel comfortable playing mixed doubles. It was so cool playing mixed doubles with Adrian! Hmm... He's such a gentlemen... so comforting and nice throughout the whole game! Okay... I admit that I'm charmed by him. Heh... The 1st day was really cool! Coz' I won all my matches... And considering that I haven't been playing since exams started, I considered it to be quite a feat. Haha... But then again, I think we had easy matches on the 1st day lar...

The 2nd day wasn't as good as the 1st day i think. Ha... my whole body was aching after the 1st day. Never ache so much before in my life! Yea... and the elbow injury came back again... after the last match on the 1st day. It was really unexpected. But, I think what made me feel comforted on the 2nd day was playing against my SAJC juniors. This year's team is quite strong compared to my year! I feel so proud of my juniors! The match I enjoyed most on the 2nd day was playing against Cheryl... she's a senior of mine from IJ. Was so surprised to see her at this charity tournament! I thought she had forgotten me, but apparently she hadn't. Haha.. I think I felt a bit paiseh... coz' I think overall me and Reinette could have played better? Yea... I think overall it was still an ok match lar... The best match in comparison to the others we played that day, coz' Cheryl and partner were really challenging opponents. It was just so fun to play with them! Though we lost, we were happy!

I think the best part of all for this charity tournament was the bonding we had together as a team. A sudden realization dawned upon me. I'm enjoying tennis! As in really enjoying when I'm playing a match, and not overly obsessed with the final result, but rather, the process of playing the match. It took me years to find this joy of enjoying a match. I think this would not have happened without them, and I'm really grateful to God for blessing me with such good team mates and letting me be here.

I wish time could stop here right now. I really treasure every moment of this, and I will really miss them when I graduate.

&Life Philosophy
All our lives we search for someone who makes us complete. We choose partners and change partners. We dance the song of heartbreak and carry our hopes within us, wondering if somewhere,somehow there is someone searching for us.

Dance as though no one is watching you. Love as though you have never been hurt before. Sing as though no one can hear you. Live as though heaven is on earth.
~~~
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results. ~~~
